OCIC

Order of Christian Initiation adapted for Children. If your child is 7-years-old through 12th grade and needs to be baptized, they will be placed in our wonderful program, OCIA for Children (OCIC) 

OCIA for Children participants attend the 9:00 AM Mass on Sundays. During Mass they are dismissed after the homily (around 9:30) for Breaking Open the Word and their regularly scheduled class. Class will dismiss at 11:15am during the scheduled faith formation time. 

All of the children and teens will receive Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation during the Easter Vigil Mass.

If your child was not baptized Catholic and would like to be fully initiated into the Catholic Church they will also attend our OCIC class and follow the process listed above.   A profession of faith will be completed during the process.
